Focal Perception, 2015

The sculpture was created in response to a period of research at OpTiC: Optro-Electronics Technology Centre, Wales. The centre has been involved in developing mirrored lens segments for the largest optical/near-infrared telescope - the European-Extremely Large Telescope (E-ELT) at the site of Cerro Armazones, Chile for the European Southern Observatory (ESO)
