The river, occupying the space between territory and archive - a cultural container where the eddies meander social and ecological relations. And in this space, an act of marbling, as with bookbinding, serving both as frame and protection in echoes of an industrial past.

 

The footage of Afon Rheidol and the valley was captured on Super8 analogue film and digitised for the exhibition Agor Llyfr, Capel Bethel.

The exhibition will be open Thursdays to Sundays 11am - 6pm, and by appointment, until July 19th

 

Thanks to Goodman Gallery Johannesburg and William Kentridge Studio, we are
proud to be showing an original work by William Kentridge. We are also
featuring new site-based work by Maud Cotter, Dermot O’Brien and Alex Rich,
courtesy of Domo Baal Gallery. In addition, Peter Foolen of October in Eindhoven,
and Thomas A Clark of Cairn Gallery in Pittenweem have contributed scores of
publications between them.

the afternoon and evening.
