Book Art
The artist book was initially made as a means to store memories and secrets. The 'Memory' book was first made from a collection of old typography and paper collections that once belonged to my grandmother. The concept of containing memories within a small framework fascinated me and ever since I have used this idea to make a number of three dimensional concertina books. The books that I create often contain a narrative. I utilise old, discarded papers and transform them into unique one off books.
